Until now.I’ve finally completed my own studio in which I can control light and take my portraiture to new levels. How cool it has been to bring friends and family in for a couple of hours of visiting and making pictures. Better yet, I’m now rewarded with the opportunity to make new friends, as we meet and work together to create portraits that we both love. In this blog I intend to post (with my clients’ permission) some of the playful, albeit accidental, images that would otherwise never see the light of day. Additionally, I may throw in a favorite portrait, a playful snapshot, or a poignant and applicable thought or quote. Let’s just see what happens!
My First Blog Post
Except for a few college portraiture courses, followed by a stint as a studio photographer’s assistant, my portrait work has been mostly informal – and typically natural light.
